Precise and to the point
“Bar path drifted forward. Reset your brace and take it again.”
- Coaches with short, technical cues
- Talks in real numbers — sets, reps, load
- Keeps rest tight, no filler between sets
iOS · Voice-first strength coach
Your coach takes it from there — calling your sets, hearing what you lifted, logging it hands-free.
Hear it
Tell your coach what you did, ask for a rest timer — it’s all by voice, and your hands never leave the bar.
You
You say: “Hey coach, I did eight reps.”
Your coach
Coach says: Okay, logging that in. Eight at sixty — set one of four.
Bench press · 8 × 60 kg
Set 1 of 4
You say: “Start a ninety second timer.”
Coach says: Rest timer’s on. Ninety seconds — breathe, and I’ll call the next set.
Rest timer
Started by voice
How it works
Exercise, set number, target reps and load. Spoken, not tapped.
Plain speech mid-set. No wake word, no screen.
Set written to your log, rest timer running, next lift queued.
A set that went badly changes what comes next.

Your plan
Answer a few questions once — the coach handles the rest.
Free includes one plan generation. Pro and Premium are unlimited.

Answers come from published research — sources shown, never guessed.
You ask
“Should I train to failure on every set?”
Your coach answers
Not on every set. Stopping one or two reps short keeps most of the growth stimulus at a fraction of the recovery cost.

FAQ
Anything else — cancelling, deleting your data, getting in touch — lives on the support page.
Coaching & plans
It reads the profile you fill in — goals, experience, how many days you train, how long a session runs, your equipment, and any injuries — and checks that against a curated strength-training research corpus before proposing a week. Nothing is saved until you accept it.
Say the set out loud — “135 for 8” — and it records it, starts your rest timer, and tells you what is next. You can also ask it to swap an exercise or skip ahead without stopping.
Nothing is lost. Reopen it and the session resumes on the same exercise and set, with your logged sets intact — leaving the app does not end a workout.
Devices & connection
No. Any earbuds — or the phone’s own mic and speaker — work. Earbuds are just more comfortable with a bar in your hands.
Not yet. GymSync is iOS-only today.
Logging works offline. Voice coaching and chat need a connection.
Settings → Units. Weights are stored independently of how they are shown, so past logs re-display in your choice too — nothing is converted or rounded away.
Billing & data
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us: on your device, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You keep the paid features until the period you have already paid for runs out, and your data is untouched either way.
Settings → Account settings → Delete account. It erases your profile, plans, training history, and conversations straight away, and it can’t be undone.
GymSync for iOS is in App Review now. Leave your email and it arrives the moment it goes live.
